 In a proactive move to enhance the safety of the university community, the management of Kogi State University, Kabba (KSUK), has announced that the use of official identification (ID) cards is now mandatory for all staff and students.

The directive, contained in an official memorandum signed by the Registrar and Secretary to the Council, Dr. J. U. Amodu, takes effect immediately.

According to the statement dated April 15, 2026, this new policy is a critical component of ongoing efforts to strengthen security measures across the campus. The management emphasized that the primary goal is to ensure the safety of every individual within the university premises by facilitating easy identification and monitoring of authorized personnel.
