Kwara Governor Names Professor Shaykh-Lukman Jimoh as New KWASU Vice Chancellor

Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq of Kwara State has appointed Professor Shaykh-Lukman Alade Jimoh as the new Vice Chancellor of Kwara State University (KWASU). The decision follows Professor Shaykh-Lukman's top ranking in the university's governing council screening exercise.

Professor Shaykh-Lukman, currently serving as the acting VC, previously held the position of Deputy Vice Chancellor from 2020 to 2022. He brings a wealth of academic accolades, including being named Best Graduating Student in the Department of Religions at the University of Ilorin in 1988.
