Each beneficiary is set to receive a palliative fund of N10,000 directly deposited into their bank accounts, aimed at assisting them in managing their expenses, particularly in light of the recent fuel subsidy removal. Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq expressed that this financial support represents a token of solidarity with the students, marking another dimension of the multisectoral palliatives that have been rolled out by his administration since June.
