KWASU Acting VC Commissions Ilorin Clinic of Centre for Complementary and Alternative Therapy
Professor Shaykh-Luqman Jimoh has commissioned the Ilorin Clinic and office of the Centre for Complimentary and Alternative Therapy as a way to bring the Centre's products and services closer to the people.
Professor Jimoh said the contributions of the Centre to the health needs of people necessitated the strategic siting in KWASU's Conference Center in Ilorin.
The Acting Vice Chancellor described the Centre as "another trail blazing community development initiative of the University" which has also commenced a 6 month training program in Naturapathy to equip alternative health therapists with better knowledge that would enhance their practice.

Professor Jimoh said the programme is structured to deliver consice knowledge on alternative therapies and on completion, participants will receive a KWASU endorsed certificate.
The Acting Board Chairman of the Centre, Professor Emmanuel Ajani, noted that the training programme of the Centre will equip participants with better knowledge of natural and alternative therapies.
