KWASU keen on inter University Collaborations - Prof. Jimoh
The Acting Vice Chancellor of Kwara State University, Professor Shaykh-Luqman Jimoh, has reiterated the importance of inter university collaborations to sustain research and community participation.
Professor Jimoh made the call on Monday, January 8, 2024, while declaring open a one-week professional intensive scholarship course sponsored by the Center for Continuing Professional Education, Faculty of Philology, RUDN University in Collaboration with the Centre for International Education, Kwara State University.
The Acting Vice-Chancellor, who was represented by the university librarian, Professor AbdulSalam Abiodun Salman, stated that KWASU courts collaborations with other institutions to promote research and community participation.
He stressed that the institution is delighted to be a part of the training as it is an integral way of giving back to society.
A total of 156 participants registered to participate in the course that features intercultural communication in digital age, community journalism, and entrepreneurial journalism.
The opening ceremony and training held at the Kwara State University International Conference Centre, Ilorin.
