The Vice Chancellor of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Prof. R. O. Rom Kalilu, has announced the academic calendar for the 2023/2024 Rain Semester. This announcement follows the approval by the Senate on the recommendation of the Committee of Provosts and Deans.
Key dates from the calendar are as follows:

July 2024:
- Monday, July 1: Resumption for all students
- Sunday, July 14: Registration without penalty begins
- Monday, July 15: Commencement of lectures for all students
- Sunday, July 28: Registration without penalty ends
- Monday, July 29: Registration with penalty begins
August 2024:
- Friday, August 2: Registration with penalty ends
- Saturday, August 24: Mid-Semester Continuous Assessment (CA) Test by CBT begins
- Monday, August 26: Mid-Semester CA Test by CBT ends
- Saturday, August 31: Lectures for all students end
September 2024:
- Monday, September 2: Lecture-free week and tutorials begin
- Saturday, September 28: Lecture-free week and tutorials end; 2023/2024 Rain Semester examination begins
- Saturday, September 28: 2023/2024 Rain Semester examination ends; End of semester and academic session, break for students begins
