Lagos City Polytechnic Begins Admission for 2025/2026 Academic Session

Lagos City Polytechnic has announced the commencement of admissions for the 2025/2026 academic session. Suitably qualified candidates are invited to apply for admission into the institution’s programmes.

Admission Requirements

• Admission into Full-Time ND programmes is through JAMB. Candidates who sat for the UTME but did not initially choose Lagos City Polytechnic and now wish to attend should promptly contact the Admissions Officer with their UTME details.
• Applicants for Part-Time programmes or those who did not sit for JAMB can also apply directly to the Polytechnic.

Admission and Registration Procedures for Fresh Students

1. Obtain a teller from the Admissions/Enquiries Officer for payment of the application fee at the designated bank.
2. Present the teller to the Bursary and obtain an application form.
3. Submit the completed form to the Admissions/Enquiries Officer, who will provide guidance on the required documents.
4. Receive a date for the Post-UTME test and sit for the examination.
5. Collect your admission letter (if successful) and proceed to pay the non-refundable acceptance fee and other charges at the Bursary.
6. Undergo a medical test at the designated centre.
7. Present your admission letter to MIS for directives on school fee payment.
8. Pay your fees as directed and obtain registration forms from the Admissions/Enquiries Officer.
9. Submit completed registration forms along with evidence of medical clearance and O’Level verification.
10. Collect your MIS form with your matriculation number indicated.
11. Register your courses at the MIS office each semester.
12. Obtain endorsement of your course registration form from your Head of Department and Director of School.
13. Submit all payment documents and endorsed forms to the Bursary for documentation and accreditation.

For Candidates Who Did Not Choose Lagos City Polytechnic as First Choice

• Visit any JAMB-accredited CBT centre.
• Make Lagos City Polytechnic your first choice institution.
• Print out your JAMB result and change of institution slip.
• Part-time applicants or those without JAMB results should apply directly as part-time students and print out the slip immediately.

All applicants are to proceed to the Polytechnic’s campus at 6/9, Bashiru Oweh Street, Ikeja, off Medical Road, Opposite Computer Village, Ikeja for processing.
