Public schools in Lagos State, along with Lagos State University (LASU), have adhered to the directives of the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) and Trade Union Congress (TUC) by sending primary school students home on Monday.

An anonymous LASU staff member confirmed the total compliance, noting that only a few workers were present on campus. They mentioned the minimal activity taking place and the possibility of leaving soon due to the lack of ongoing activities.

Similar situations were observed in Oshodi/Isolo, Ikeja, Agege, and other parts of the state. By 9 am, some students were seen returning home as their teachers failed to report to school, with school premises remaining closed.
