LASU Announces Admission Into 2024/2025 HND/BSc Conversion Top-Up Degree Programme

Lagos State University (LASU) School of Part-Time Studies (SPTS) invites applications from qualified candidates for its 2024/2025 HND/BSc Conversion Top-Up Degree Programme.

The programme is designed to provide HND holders the opportunity to earn a Bachelor’s degree and for BSc holders to improve their degree classification.

Admission Requirements:
Applicants must possess a relevant BSc degree (any class) and HND (minimum of Lower Credit) and have completed the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) or have an exemption certificate.

Available Programmes and O’Level Requirements:

• BSc Accounting: Five O’Level credits including English, Mathematics, Economics, plus any two of Government, Accounting, Commerce, Business Studies, Book-keeping.
• BSc Business Administration: English, Mathematics, Economics/Commerce, plus any two of Financial Accounting, Government, Business Studies, Marketing, Insurance, Book-keeping, Biology.
• BSc Finance: English, Mathematics, Economics, plus any two of Financial Accounting, Government, Business Studies, Book-keeping, Marketing, Commerce, Biology, Insurance.
• BSc Insurance: English, Mathematics, Economics, plus any two of Financial Accounting, Government, Business Studies, Insurance, Chemistry, Physics, Marketing, Commerce, Geography.
• BSc Industrial Relations & Human Resources Management: English, Mathematics, Economics/Commerce, plus any two of Financial Accounting, Government, Business Studies, Marketing, Insurance, Book-keeping, Biology.
• BSc Public Administration: English, Mathematics, Government/History, Economics/Commerce, plus any one subject from Arts and Social Sciences.
• BSc Marketing: English, Mathematics, plus any three of Economics, Accounting, Business Studies, Book-keeping, Marketing, Commerce.
• BSc Mass Communication: English, Mathematics, Literature, plus any two subjects from Arts and Social Sciences.
• BSc Computer Science: English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, plus one Science subject.
• BSc Economics: English, Mathematics, Economics, plus any two subjects from Arts and Social Sciences.
• BSc Geography: English, Mathematics, Geography, plus any two subjects from Arts and Social Sciences.
• BSc Project Management Technology: English, Mathematics, Physics, plus any two subjects from Social Sciences and Science.
• BSc Fisheries: English, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology/Agricultural Science, Geography/Economics; pass in Physics required.
• BSc Science Laboratory Technology: English, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, Physics.

Application Process:
Applicants must visit www.lasu.edu.ng/epayment to pay a non-refundable fee of ₦25,000 to access the application form. The form must be completed online, and credentials uploaded. Qualified candidates will be invited for screening. Upon admission, an acceptance fee of ₦30,000 and a medical fee of ₦30,000 are payable.
