LASU Announces Medical Screening Schedule for Newly Admitted Students

Lagos State University (LASU) has announced the commencement of its medical screening exercise for newly admitted students, scheduled to begin on Monday, 3rd March 2025. The screening will be conducted by the Directorate of Health Services at the university’s Health Centre.

According to LASU, students will be screened in daily batches of 50-70 individuals until all new intakes have undergone the process. This arrangement is designed to ensure a seamless and well-coordinated exercise, providing an accurate estimation of the total duration required for the screenings.

New students are required to visit the official LASU website (www.lasu.edu.ng) to check and print their respective screening dates. On their scheduled day, students must report to the Outpatient Section (Old Building) of the university’s Health Centre with the following documents:

1. A printed copy of their medical screening schedule date;

2. Two (2) recent passport photographs;

3. A copy of the receipt of payment for medical screening; and

4. Writing materials.

The institution has warned that any student who fails to appear on their assigned date will face sanctions. Additionally, parents, staff members, former students, and friends are strictly prohibited from accessing the screening area.
