LASU Announces Second Semester 2023/2024 Academic Session Schedule
LASU has released the timetable for the second semester of the 2023/2024 academic session. From June 3rd to August 9th, students in levels 100 to 300 will resume, register, and attend lectures.

Lagos State University (LASU) has unveiled the schedule for the second semester of the 2023/2024 academic session. The timetable encompasses crucial activities such as resumption, registration, lectures, examinations, grading, and result uploads.
Resumption and Registration (3rd June - 9th August):
LASU sets the stage for the second semester by welcoming back students from Monday, 3rd June to Friday, 9th August. During this period, students from 100 to 300 levels will engage in registration procedures and commence their academic activities.
Lectures (3rd June - 9th August):
Simultaneously with registration, lectures will commence for students across various levels. This phase is vital for academic engagement and the dissemination of course content.
Examinations (12th August - 30th August):
Following the lecture period, LASU schedules examinations from Monday, 12th to Friday, 30th August. This period will test students' comprehension and mastery of the course materials covered during the semester.

Grading and Results Upload (2nd September - 13th September):
After the examinations, the grading process will ensue, spanning from Monday, 2nd to Friday, 13th September. This phase involves the meticulous assessment of students' performance, culminating in the uploading of results.
Departments and Faculty Consideration (16th September - 20th September):
Departments and faculty members will review and consider the uploaded results from Monday, 16th to Friday, 20th September. This step ensures accuracy and fairness in the evaluation process.
Collation of Results and Senate Meeting (23rd September - 27th September):
LASU will collate the results and convene a Senate meeting from Monday, 23rd to Friday, 27th September. During this period, any necessary corrections will be made, and results will undergo ICT processing for finalization.
End of Semester/Sessional Break (30th September):

The culmination of the second semester will mark the end of the academic session on Monday, September 30th. Students will embark on a well-deserved break before the commencement of the next session.
