LASU Implements Mandatory Completion of LACACA Operations for Matriculation Numbers

Lagos State University (LASU) has introduced the Lagos State University Central Admissions Clearance App (LACACA) as a compulsory clearance process for all categories of admitted candidates. The LACACA operation is designed to verify candidates' suitability for the programmes to which they have been offered admission, ensuring a seamless transition into the university community. Failure to complete the LACACA process will result in the forfeiture of provisional admissions.

According to LASU authorities, the completion of LACACA operations is a mandatory requirement for the issuance of matriculation numbers to admitted students. All candidates admitted into various programmes must pass through the LACACA platform to be eligible for matriculation.

Admitted candidates into specific programmes are urged to commence the LACACA operations before midnight on Friday, March 15th, 2024. These include postgraduate students admitted in the 2022/2023 academic session, sandwich degree programme students admitted in the 2023 modular year, school of part-time students admitted in the 2023/2024 academic session, conversion degree programme students admitted in the 2022/2023 academic session, and diploma students admitted in the 2022/2023 academic session.

It is emphasized that matriculation numbers will only be issued upon 100% completion of the LACACA platform. Students who fail to complete the process will not have access to their academic profiles, especially postgraduate students who have already been assigned matriculation numbers.
