LASU Professor Olasupo Akewushola Appointed Provost of LASCOHET
Professor Olasupo Raheem Akewushola, a Professor of Strategic Management and Entrepreneurship at Lagos State University (LASU), has been appointed Provost of Lagos State College of Health Technology (LASCOHET).

Professor Olasupo Raheem Akewushola, esteemed Professor of Strategic Management and Entrepreneurship at Lagos State University (LASU), has been appointed as the Provost of Lagos State College of Health Technology (LASCOHET). His appointment, effective from July 2, 2024, for a single term of five years, was confirmed in a letter dated July 9, 2024, and signed by Lagos State Head of Service, Mr. Bode Agoro.
The letter, reflecting the approval of Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, marks a significant step in the leadership of LASCOHET. Prof. Akewushola, who is the immediate-past Dean of the Faculty of Management Sciences at LASU, brings a wealth of experience from his extensive administrative roles.
Vice Chancellor of LASU, Prof. Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello, congratulated Prof. Akewushola on his appointment, expressing confidence in his ability to elevate LASCOHET to international standards. She emphasized his capacity to transform the institution, drawing on his academic and administrative expertise.
