LASU Staff School Celebrates 34th Graduation and Prize-Giving Day

The Lagos State University Staff School held its 34th Graduation Ceremony and Prize-Giving Day at the LASU Main Campus in Ojo, Lagos. The event celebrated academic excellence, with outstanding students receiving prizes for their achievements.

The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello, approved two additional brand-new buses for the staff and pupils of the Staff School. The buses are part of the welfare package for staff and pupils.

The theme of the event was "Empowering Young Minds: A Panacea to Building a Brighter Future." The Vice-Chancellor emphasized the institution's commitment to quality education and providing an enabling environment for young minds to grow.

Two teachers, Mr. Philips Zinzu and Mrs. Mary Owolabi, who spent 30 and 29 years respectively at the Staff School, were honored for their meritorious service as they bowed out of service.

The Head Teacher, Mrs. Aderemi Ogunbayo, advised the graduands to stay focused and work hard, and wished them the best of luck in their further studies .
