LAUTECH Opens Co-Working Space at CEST With Support From Alumni and Friends

The Centre for Emerging Skills and Technology (CEST) at Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, has officially opened its newly established co-working space for the University community. The facility is located within the Seyi Makinde Innovation and Technology Hub at LAUTECH.

The Centre for Emerging Skills and Technology (CEST) at Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, has officially opened its newly established co-working space for the University community.

The facility is located within the Seyi Makinde Innovation and Technology Hub at LAUTECH.

The development of the co-working space was made possible through generous contributions from LAUTECH alumni and a distinguished friend of the University. Key donors include Dr. Abimbola Alamu, Engr. Abidoye Johnson, Engr. Oyelade Oyedolapo, Engr. Adeleke Adebayo, and Engr. Abiodun Obajinmi, all Mechanical Engineering alumni, Engr. Adeyemo Adesegun, a Computer Science and Engineering alumnus, and Major General Olapade Oyelade.

With the recently installed solar power system now fully operational, the co-working space, conference hall, and classroom facilities are available for staff and students. The initiative represents a significant advancement in fostering innovation, collaboration, and capacity development within LAUTECH.
