Michael Abiona Excels, Graduates with Honors in Electrical Engineering from the University of Lagos

Michael Abiona, a young achiever, has celebrated a significant milestone by earning an Electrical Engineering degree with honors from the University of Lagos, Nigeria. Michael shared his achievement on LinkedIn, expressing gratitude for the transformative experiences, growth, and learning throughout his academic journey.
His tenure at the University of Lagos was marked by notable accomplishments, including becoming a Graduate Member of the Nigeria Society of Engineers (GMNSE) while still a student. Michael received recognition through various scholarships, such as the NNPC/SNEPCo National University Scholarship and the MTN Foundation Scholarship for Science and Technology Students. Additionally, he was a recipient of the University of Lagos Endowment Fund.

Among his achievements, Michael secured a place as one of the Top 20 NNPC/SNEPCo Nationwide Scholars, providing him with the opportunity to interact with leaders from the Shell Company in Nigeria and fellow scholars nationwide. Notably, he met the Deputy Manager of Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation Limited (NNPCL) Upstream Investment Management Services (NUIMS) and the Head of Social Performance and Social Investment of SNEPCo during this engagement.
