Ministry Of Tertiary Education Pays Familiarization Visit to Melete Campus, Kwara State University
The Commissioner of Kwara State Ministry of Tertiary Education, Dr. Mary Ronke Arinde has commended the Acting Vice Chancellor and other management team of Kwara State University for working to ensure the smooth running of the institution.
Dr. Arinde made this commendation when she paid a familiarisation visit to the Malete campus of the University on Wednesday, October 18, 2023.

The Commissioner who assured the Management of the institution of the commitment and support of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq stressed that the Governor was keen about strengthening the tertiary education sector.
Dr. Arinde added that the satellite campuses of the institution at Osi and Ilesa-Baruba were near completion and assured that the campuses would be ready for use very soon.
Responding, the Acting Vice Chancellor, Professor Shaykh-Luqman Jimoh, appreciated the Commissioner for her visit, stating that the University was growing fast due to the vision of the Governor to ensure stable academic calendar among other incentives.

He expressed gratitude to the Governor for the proposed conversion of the Ilorin General Hospital to the Kwara State University Teaching Hospital adding that the efforts of the Governor to provide enabling environment for the institution to thrive were greatly appreciated.
The Commissioner was accompanied on the familiarization visit by the Permanent Secretary of the ministry and other top management officials.
