Modibbo Adama University Hosts Successful Orientation for New Students

The Department of Political Science at Modibbo Adama University recently organized a successful orientation exercise for newly admitted students in 100 and 200 levels.
The event aimed to familiarize freshers with the university environment and its workings, providing them with essential guidance to navigate university life.
The orientation featured lectures from experts on various topics, including guidance and counseling, student affairs, library services, academic planning, and General Studies (GST). The Dean of the Faculty of Social and Management Sciences, Prof. Haruna Isa Mohammed, addressed the students, offering valuable insights on key issues and providing practical advice on developing a reading culture, choosing friends wisely, and maintaining academic integrity.
The orientation emphasized the importance of academic integrity, decent dressing, and the GPA system. Students were encouraged to cultivate a reading habit and regularly visit the library to expand their knowledge. The event was deemed a valuable experience for the new students, setting them on the path to success in their academic journey.
