MOUAU Deputy Registrar Onyinye Ralph-Nwachukwu Makes History as First Abia Woman to Become NIPR Fellow

The Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike (MOUAU), has reason to celebrate as Deputy Registrar Onyinye Ralph-Nwachukwu has become the first Abia woman to be honored with the prestigious title of Fellow at the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR).
The recognition took place during the Nigeria Public Relations Week in Abeokuta, Ogun State, on April 25, 2024. Onyinye’s career reflects a history of dedication, resilience, and excellence, bringing pride to MOUAU and Abia State.
Born after years of anticipation, Onyinye, fondly known as ONYINYECHI, has always lived up to the meaning of her name – 'special gift from God'. Her academic achievements and professional journey exemplify her passion for public relations and her commitment to making a lasting impact.

Onyinye earned degrees from esteemed institutions such as the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, and Abia State University, Uturu. She started her career in broadcasting during her National Youth Service, where she quickly gained recognition. After transitioning to academia, she transformed the Public Relations/Protocol Unit at MOUAU, revitalizing its approach to communication and public engagement.
Her involvement in professional associations like NIPR and Rotary International underscores her commitment to community service. Among her many accolades is the Rotary International Regional Service Award, acknowledging her contributions to society and her tireless efforts in helping others.
