MSSN UNIMAID Mourns the Loss of Brother Abubakar: A Tragic Tale of a Promising Graduate

Innalillahi wa inna ilaihiraji'uun! With heavy hearts and deep sorrow, we share the somber news of the passing of one of our own, Brother Abubakar. He was a recent graduate in Pure and Applied Chemistry, having achieved this milestone just this year.

Tragically, after collecting his hard-earned results, Abubakar's journey home was marred by a senseless act of violence. Reports indicate that he fell victim to a brutal attack by members of Boko Haram.

Yesterday, amidst profound grief, his funeral prayer was held at the University of Maiduguri central mosque following the Zuhr prayer. The entire MSSN UNIMAID community came together to bid farewell to a promising young soul.

In this time of sorrow, we beseech Allah to grant Abubakar a place in Jannatul Firdausi, the highest paradise, as his final abode. May his memory be a reminder of the challenges faced in the pursuit of knowledge in the face of adversity. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and loved ones during this difficult period.
