NANISS Joins Abdulkadir Kure University for Inaugural Matriculation Ceremony
The National Association of Niger State Students (NANISS) participated in the inaugural matriculation ceremony at Abdulkadir Kure University, Minna, marking a significant milestone for the new institution and its first batch of students.
The National Association of Niger State Students (NANISS) proudly joined Abdulkadir Kure University, Minna, for its inaugural matriculation ceremony, marking the beginning of the 2023/2024 academic session. This landmark event was a pivotal moment for the university and its newly admitted students as they embark on their academic paths.
Leading the NANISS delegation, Comrade Mohammed Isah Bashi, Global President of NANISS, expressed the association’s commitment to the welfare of Niger State students across all academic institutions. The NANISS team’s presence highlighted their dedication to supporting the academic and personal growth of these students throughout their education.
The matriculation ceremony was a vibrant gathering, featuring university officials, dignitaries, and special guests, who collectively celebrated the achievements of the new students. NANISS leadership took the opportunity to engage with the university administration, emphasizing its commitment to student support.
NANISS also recognized the efforts of Niger State Governor, Farmer Mohammed Umar Bago, in advancing the university’s growth. His contributions include:
- A ₦1 million scholarship for each of the 86 matriculated students in the Faculty of Education.
- An allocation of ₦500 million to establish new faculties at the university.
- A secured ₦15 billion fund for the construction of hostels, auditoriums, and the university senate building.
The NANISS team extended heartfelt congratulations to all matriculating students and expressed appreciation to Abdulkadir Kure University for their hospitality and support.
