NANS Commends JAMB for Free UTME Registration for PLWD

The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) has expressed its commendation for the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) as the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME) registration commenced. NANS President, Comrade Lucky Emonefe, lauded JAMB for its commendable policy of providing free registration for Persons Living With Disabilities (PLWD).

Emonefe stated that this gesture would serve as an encouragement for individuals with disabilities to pursue their academic aspirations without financial constraints. He appreciated Prof. Is-haq Oloyede, the JAMB Registrar, for the magnanimous step, noting that it is a welcome development, particularly in the current economic challenges.
