Kathleen Bostick, a distinguished graduate of Spelman College in the United States, has secured the prestigious NASA Astronaut Scholarship for her outstanding work in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). Bostick's remarkable achievement comes after presenting her meticulously planned mission to Mars at NASA's Langley Research Center.
The scholarship was bestowed upon Kathleen Bostick by the esteemed retired astronaut Joan Higginbotham, the third Black woman to journey into space. Bostick's passion for space exploration ignited during her high school years, and her dedication to STEM fields was a driving force behind her success.
