Nasarawa State University Hosts Maiden Registry Seminar

Nasarawa State University, Keffi, recently held its first Registry Seminar Series in honor of two distinguished administrators, Dr. Zhebu Musa Oliver and Mr. Zamani Habu Ibrahim.

The seminar, themed "Servicing Committees and Panels: The Strategic Roles of University Administrators," brought together senior university officials, staff, and guests from sister institutions.

The seminar highlighted the crucial role of university administrators in decision-making, policy formulation, and governance. The University Registrar, Dr. Bala I. Ahmed II, emphasized the importance of institutionalized governance training, clear recognition and promotion pathways, and digitization of committee processes.

The two honorees, Dr. Zhebu Musa Oliver and Mr. Zamani Habu Ibrahim, were praised for their professionalism, national contributions, and dedication to institutional growth. They encouraged staff to maintain high standards, uphold the university's core values, and foster collaboration between the University Council and Management.

The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Sa'adatu Hassan Liman, represented by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration), Dr. Halima Aliyu Doma-Kutigi, reaffirmed the university's commitment to academic excellence and supporting the Registry. The seminar concluded with a group photograph, marking a significant milestone in the university's commitment to professional development and excellence.
