Nasarawa State University, Keffi VC Supports Students Affected by Fire Incident

The Vice-Chancellor of Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK), Professor Sa'adatu Hassan Liman, has extended financial assistance to students whose residences were ravaged by a recent fire outbreak.

On Monday, April 14, 2025, Professor Liman presented N50,000 each to 15 students who lost their belongings in the devastating incident that occurred in Angwan Lambu.

The donation ceremony was held at the Vice-Chancellor's office in the Senate Building. Professor Liman emphasized that the funds were meant to help alleviate the students' distress and encouraged them to use the money prudently.

Usman Mudi Sule, speaking on behalf of the affected students, expressed heartfelt gratitude to the university management for their swift action and support under Professor Sa'adatu Hassan Liman's leadership. He urged for ongoing assistance and highlighted the importance of community and institutional support in times of crisis.

Professor Liman also pledged her commitment to providing financial support and alternative hostel accommodations for those impacted. The university management's prompt action has been commended by the students, reflecting the institution's dedication to student welfare.
