National Open University of Nigeria Special Needs Unit Visits FCE Oyo

A delegation from the National Open University of Nigeria’s (NOUN) Special Needs Unit has visited the Federal College of Education (Special), Oyo, to enhance support for learners with special needs.  

Led by the Head of the Special Needs Unit, Christie Uzoukwu, the team explored assistive technologies and strategies for training visually impaired learners to use computer keyboards effectively.

The NOUN Special Needs Unit, established in March 2024, focuses on supporting visually impaired students within the university.
