National Teachers' Institute Explores Collaboration with TeCETEL on Digital Teaching Practice

A delegation from the National Teachers' Institute (NTI) in Kaduna visited the TETFUND Center for Technology Enhanced Learning (TeCETEL) at the Federal University of Education, Zaria, to discuss the adoption of digital Teaching Practice (TP) supervision. Led by Hajiya Rabi' Mora, the team aimed to learn about the digital TP system and explore how it could be implemented at NTI.

Dr. Ilesanmi Ajibola, Director of TeCETEL, welcomed the delegation, emphasizing the importance of collaboration in enhancing educational practices. Dr. Yusuf Yakubu, Monitoring and Evaluation Officer, explained that the digital TP system improves supervision efficiency and reduces costs, requiring supervisors to be present at schools for assessments.

The visit included a practical demonstration of the digital TP system, which impressed the delegation. Hajiya Mora expressed satisfaction with the center's capabilities and indicated plans to customize the system for NTI's needs after consulting with management.
