NBTE Accredits 30 Programs at Kogi State Polytechnic

The Rector of Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja, Professor Salisu Usman Ogbo, announced that the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) has fully accredited 30 programs at the institution.

During a reception with members of the Correspondents Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Kogi State Council, Ogbo highlighted the achievements since he assumed office in April 2020. His administration tackled significant challenges, including cultism, insecurity, nonfunctional hostels, and inadequate infrastructure, through various reforms and initiatives.

These efforts have led to notable improvements in the institution's physical projects and academic standards. Ogbo emphasized the importance of collaboration among stakeholders to enhance the institution's growth and thanked both former Governor Yahaya Bello and current Governor Ododo for their support.
