Nelfund Ambassador Advocates Support for Law Students in Meeting Nigerian Law School Fees

On 28th October 2025, Nelfund Ambassador from Bayero University, Kano Muhammad Isah Qari visited the Managing Director of Nelfund, Mr. Kintunde Sawyerr, at the organization’s headquarters in Abuja.
During the meeting, the ambassador from Bayero University Kano (BUK) proposed an initiative to support law graduates proceeding to the Nigerian Law School, where tuition and related fees are significantly high. The initiative is expected to be developed in partnership with the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) and the National Council of Legal Education to create Sharia-compliant funding options.
The Managing Director expressed appreciation for the proposal, pledged Nelfund’s support for its prompt commencement, and reaffirmed the organization’s commitment to improving the efficiency of student loan processes.
