Nigerian Army University Biu Achieves Full NUGA Accreditation for 2025
The Nigerian Army University (NAUB) has recorded a resounding success in the recent Nigerian University Games Association (NUGA) accreditation exercise.
The exercise was held at University of Jos, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine on August 28-29, 2025, saw NAUB meeting all requirements for full accreditation.
The NUGA accreditation committee, led by Mrs. Eunice Adebayo James, commended the university's investment in sports and the Director of ICT, Engr. Sadiq Adamu, ably represented by Umar Isa Bukar for displaying professionalism in verifying studentship of NAUB athletes on the NAUB and JAMB portals.
Professor Yakasai, Chairman Technical NUGA, praised NAUB for its inclusive approach to sporting activities. The full accreditation status granted to NAUB athletes will enable them to fully participate in the upcoming NUGA 2025 competition in Jos.
The Director of Sports Maj SO Adeyemo attributed this success to the VC Prof Lawan Bala Buratai unwavering support and sustained investment in sports development and advancements, aligning with the university's vision and mission.
The Directorate of Sports reaffirms its commitment to continuous improvement and excellence in sports and community service.
