Nigerian Army University Biu Concludes 5-Day ADEPTI Training for Staff

The Nigerian Army University (NAUB) in Biu has successfully concluded a 5-day Advanced Digital Empowerment Programme for Tertiary Institutions (ADEPTI) training for its staff.

The training, held at the Directorate of ICT from September 14 to 19, 2025, aimed to transform lecturers from the analog to the digital era.

NAUB Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Lawan Bala Buratai, stressed the importance of digital transformation, stating that all staff must be digitally updated and aligned with the evolving IT landscape.

The training focused on enhancing digital proficiency, cybersecurity awareness, adoption of emerging technologies, and mastery of data analysis and visualization techniques.

Prof. Buratai thanked the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) and the Digital Bridge Institute (DBI) for organizing the training, as well as the Director of ICT, Mr. Sadiq Adamu, for his dedication and efforts.

The NAUB management has reaffirmed its commitment to digital capacity building and integration of technology in tertiary education. The training marks a significant milestone in the university's efforts to enhance staff digital skills and promote innovation.
