Nigerian Bar Association Visits North-Eastern University, Strengthens Ties

The Executive Committee (Exco) of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Gombe State Chapter, paid a courtesy visit to North-Eastern University, Gombe, to strengthen ties and explore collaborative opportunities.

Led by Branch Chairman, Barrister Benjamin Sati, the delegation was received by the Pro-Chancellor and Founder, Dr. Sani Jauro, Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Sani Isyaka, and Registrar, Hajiya Hauwa Abubakar.

The NBA Chairman commended the university's Faculty of Law for its international standards and exceptional facilities, including the Moot Court, Law Clinic, and Law Library. He expressed the need for collaboration, particularly in mentorship programs, and urged the university to consider establishing a postgraduate school.

The Pro-Chancellor highlighted the university's existing mentorship policy and plans to position the Faculty of Law as a hub for the legal profession, providing resources for retired Judges, Justices, and Senior Advocates of Nigeria to offer guidance and consultancy services.
