Usmanu Danfodiyo University Sokoto (UDUS) held its 45th inaugural lecture, with Professor Abubakar Abdullahi Bagudo delivering a thought-provoking presentation on "Teaching, Teachers, Teaching Profession, and Educational Accountability in Nigeria."

The lecture, chaired by the Vice Chancellor, Professor Lawal Suleiman Bilbis, was attended by dignitaries including Deputy Vice-Chancellors, Professors, Deans, and Heads of Departments.

Professor Bagudo, a renowned expert in Philosophy of Education, emphasized that teaching is a deliberate action that imparts knowledge and develops the 3H's: Head (cognitive domain), Heart (affective/psycho-social), and Hand (psychomotor domain). He also demystified the three stages of teaching: pre-teaching, teaching, and post-teaching.
