The Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) hosted a special event on May 4, 2024, to honor the immediate past Commandant, Major General IM Yusuf (rtd).

The occasion featured a maiden regimental concert organized in his honor, recognizing his contributions to the academy.

During the event, Major General Yusuf also commissioned two new facilities: the NDA Mammy Market link road and the NDA Officers Mess and Golf Club. These additions aim to enhance the infrastructure and amenities within the academy, supporting the development of future military leaders.
