Nigerian Scholar Excels in Petroleum Engineering, Named Best Postgraduate Student in Malaysia

Tijjani Hassan El-badawy, a brilliant Nigerian scholar, has achieved a significant milestone by earning a Ph.D. in Petroleum Engineering at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. Notably, he was honored as the best postgraduate student at the university.

Tijjani's doctoral research focused on oilfield-produced water desalination, utilizing innovative MD membranes. His academic journey began with a bachelor's degree in Geology from the University of Maiduguri in Nigeria. Subsequently, he pursued a Master of Science in Petroleum and Gas Engineering at the University of Salford in the United Kingdom.
