I'm probably speaking from a position of privilege, but that path has become progressively worse in the past 18 months.", he wrote.

Many emphasized the importance of having a clear plan before embarking on such a journey, stating that spending a substantial amount of money without a solid plan is not advisable. "The first thing I ask is what is your plan. If I don't hear a clear plan (A, B, C, D, E), then I just discourage you completely. You cannot spend almost 30 million Naira on 'I'll figure it out when I get there", one individual wrote.

Another contributor shed light on the substantial costs involved, revealing, "My school fee alone was approxximately £24k excluding living expenses. With funding, I know how easy my life was compared to others (I always appreciate this privilege). I saw people struggle, I'll never advise anyone to embark on it if they're not fully funded or getting funds from their guardian.
