Yemisi Akintoye, a Nigerian elite referee and proud UNILAG graduate, has received a prestigious appointment as one of the selected officials for the upcoming 2023 African Women's Champions League, set to be held in Cote d’Ivoire from November 5th to November 19th, 2023.

This talented arbiter from Nigeria earned her place among the 17 referees shortlisted from across the African continent. After undergoing a rigorous one-week pre-tournament course, she emerged as one of the final 12 referees chosen to officiate at this prominent sporting event.
