Nine LASU Law Graduates Appointed Lagos High Court Judges

Nine LASU Law Graduates Appointed Lagos High Court Judges

Nine alumni of the Faculty of Law at Lagos State University (LASU) have been appointed judges of the Lagos High Court. These appointments were part of the recent induction of 13 judges into the Lagos State High Court.

This milestone was announced by LASU on its official X handle on Monday. The university highlighted that this is the highest number of its alumni appointed to such positions at one time in its history.

The new judges are:

- Hon. Justice Sunmonu Tunde Bashiru

- Hon. Justice Alebiosu Olawale Lawal

In February, ten graduates of the Faculty of Law also achieved first-class degrees in the Nigerian Law School final Bar Examinations, further underscoring the institution's commitment to academic excellence.
