This is to inform the public that NKST College of Nursing Sciences, Mkar is announcing the sale of admission forms into the Basic Midwifery. The sale of the forms commences on Friday 23rd February, 2024 and closes on the 19th March, 2024.

PROCEDURE FOR APPLICATION 
Applicants are to pay the sum of #20,000 which covers the application form and examination fee into the Zenith bank account number 1012129112 with the account name

  • 'School of Nursing Mkar'.
  • (No POS and cash payment will be allowed)

 The candidate can proceed with the teller to the bursary department of the college and change the teller to receipt and there after proceed to the office of the Registrar to obtain an admission form after presenting the receipt indicating payment.

Applicants are to return completed forms back to the office of the Registrar on or before the date of the Entrance examination.

  • All applicants are to note that entrance examination shall hold on Tuesday, 19th March, 2024 by 9:00am.
  • The examination shall be strictly Computer Based (CBT) and shall hold in batches.

Applicants are to also note that parents, guardians, uninvited law enforcement agents, bags, GSM phones and other electronics gadgets will not be allowed into the venue of the exams.

The college shall not be responsible for any lost or misplaced bags, or documents on the day of examination as the candidates are to come to the examination hall empty handed.

Be informed also that NKST College of Nursing Sciences Mkar adheres strictly to decent dressings as it is practice by the NKST Church. Thus, applicants who deviate from the accepted style of dressing will not be allowed access to the exam venue.

REQUIREMENTS FOR ADMISSION

Intending applicants must be between the ages of 17 and 35 years.

They must possess a senior school certificate (WASSCE/NECO) NABTEB, GCE O'level or it equivalent with a minimum of five (5) credits including

English language, Mathematics, Biology, Physics and Chemistry for not more than two (2) sittings. (WAEC and NECO can be combined but NABTEB is not)
