The outgoing executives of the Islamic Mission for Africa Association (IMASA), Crescent University, Abeokuta, have paid a courtesy and appreciation visit to the university management following the successful completion of their tenure.

The delegation, led by the Amir, Shafiu AbdulRahman Ademola, was received by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Rasaki Kareem, and the Registrar, Prince Zakariyyah Ajibola, who represented the university management.

During the visit, the outgoing executives expressed gratitude to the university management for its unwavering support, which contributed to the successful execution of IMASA's activities during the 2025/2026 academic session.

Responding on behalf of the management, the Registrar commended the executives for their commitment, dedication, and exemplary service throughout their tenure. He encouraged the incoming leadership of the association to build on the achievements of their predecessors and continue working towards the growth and development of the student body.

Prince Ajibola also applauded the IMASA Week Coordinator, Roqeebah Onigbanjo, for her exceptional leadership and efforts in bringing distinguished Islamic scholars to Crescent University to enrich the academic and spiritual lives of students.

In his remarks, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Rasaki Kareem, urged members of the association to adopt more inclusive strategies that would encourage wider student participation and improve attendance at future programmes.

He also praised the outgoing executives for their service and advised them to leave behind a strong foundation and effective leadership template that future executives of the association could build upon.
