NMA Honors Auchi Polytechnic Rector, Dr. Salisu Shehu
The Nigerian Medical Association, Edo State/South-South Caucus have recognized and decorated Dr. Salisu Shehu Umar, Rector of Auchi Polytechnic with an award in view of his contribution to the development of Education in the South-South and elsewhere in the country.

Presented to him at the Rectory, Area-1, Main Campus, Dr. S.S. Umar appreciated the NMA for the honour -promising to continue on the pedestal of positive impact for not just the Auchi Polytechnic community but beyond the shores of Nigeria.
"As the Rector of Auchi Polytechnic, I have always strived to uphold the highest standards of excellence in education and to provide our students with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in their chosen fields. It is truly gratifying to see that my contributions have not gone unnoticed, and I am inspired to continue working towards the betterment of our educational system.
"This award will serve as a constant reminder of the importance of our work in shaping the future of our nation through education. I am truly honoured to receive this recognition and will continue to work tirelessly towards the advancement of education in Nigeria."
He appreciated the Chairperson, Dr. Udoka Imoisili together with members of the NMA, Edo State/South-South Caucus and described the Nigerian Medical Association as one that plays a pivotal function in the country -noting that it was an honor beyond words to have been recognized by such an esteemed organization.
"This prestigious award holds a special place in my heart, and I am grateful to be recognized for the work that I have dedicated my life to." He noted.
