Admission Requirements: Your Path to Success

1. Minimum General Requirements:

   - Candidates must possess a minimum of 5 credits, including English Language and four relevant subjects, in either one or two sittings from recognized examination bodies.

   - Specific Departmental Requirements, Specializations, and Supervisors can be viewed at the end of the application page.

2. Program-Specific Requirements:

   - Postgraduate Diploma Programmes: Graduates with a first-degree classification (FCGPA of 1.51 and above) or an HND with a minimum of Lower Credit.

   - Master's Degree Programmes: Graduates with an appropriate degree and FCGPA of 2.50 on a 5-point scale or 45% for institutions not using FCGPA.

   - MPhil/PhD Programmes: Master's Degree holders with an FCGPA of 3.20-3.49.

   - Doctor of Philosophy Programmes: Master's Degree holders with an FCGPA of 3.50 on a 5-point scale or a minimum of 60% for institutions not using FCGPA.

Seamless Application Process: Here's How to Apply

1. Visit [https://myedu.unizik.edu.ng/postgraduate](https://myedu.unizik.edu.ng/postgraduate)

2. Click on Postgraduate School and select 'Generate Application Form Invoice.'

3. Fill out the Invoice generation form and click 'Generate invoice.'

4. Make the payment at the bank or use the Debit card option.

5. Obtain your RRR and revisit the portal to complete the Application form.

6. Download and print your Acknowledgment Form and Transcript Request form for submission.

- Submission deadline for Online programmes: August 31, 2023.

- Submission deadline for Full-Time and Part-Time programmes: November 30, 2023.

- Screening Test and Proposal Defense (PhD only): September 12-15, 2023 (Online programmes), December 12-15, 2023 (Full Time and Part Time programmes).

PhD applicants are required to upload a proposal of not more than five type-written pages, including specific details as outlined in the application guidelines.
