Northwest University Kano SUG Dismisses SSA for Freshers Affairs

The Students' Union Government (SUG) of Northwest University Kano has dismissed its Senior Special Assistant (SSA) for Freshers Affairs, effective June 3, 2025.

The dismissal follows a thorough investigation that revealed the SSA spoke on behalf of the President and Class Representatives Forum without consent and supported an increment in registration fees, demonstrating disregard for student welfare.

The SUG President, Amb. Abdussalam Mahmoud Ahmad, has withdrawn the SSA's appointment and assured a smooth transition, with further announcements to follow.
