Northwest University Kano VC Supervises Summer Examinations to Ensure Academic Integrity

The Vice-Chancellor of Northwest University Kano, Professor Amina Salihi Bayero, supervised the ongoing summer examinations across the university, reaffirming the management’s commitment to upholding academic standards and integrity.

The supervisory visit, which is a long-standing tradition observed during every examination period, saw the Vice-Chancellor and her team tour key examination venues within the university. The exercise is aimed at obtaining first-hand information on the conduct of the examinations and ensuring compliance with established guidelines.

During the tour, Professor Amina Salihi Bayero visited the Muhammadu Sanusi Theatres, where she closely monitored the examination process and interacted with invigilators and students. She expressed satisfaction with the level of organization and adherence to examination regulations.

The Vice-Chancellor also proceeded to the Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences halls and the Faculty of Science, where examinations were taking place simultaneously. At each venue, she assessed the general conduct of the examinations, including seating arrangements, invigilation, and the overall atmosphere conducive for academic work.

Accompanying the Vice-Chancellor on the supervision exercise were key university officials, including the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Ibrahim Musa, and the Director of Students Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES), Dr. Isa Baba Koki, alongside other members of the management team.

The visit highlights the university administration’s dedication to ensuring transparency, discipline, and quality assurance in its academic processes, particularly during examinations.
