NOUN Shifts Commencement of 2025_2 Virtual Examination to December 8

The National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) has postponed the commencement of the 2025_2 Virtual e-Examination earlier scheduled to begin this week. The examination will now start on Monday, 8th December 2025.

According to an update issued by the Directorate of Examinations and Assessment (DEA), the shift became necessary due to ongoing technical issues currently affecting the University’s systems. The institution noted that efforts are underway to resolve the challenges and restore full functionality ahead of the new examination date.

NOUN expressed regret over the inconvenience the development may cause students and assured them of improved service delivery as preparations continue.

Students who registered for the virtual assessment are advised to take note of the new date and make necessary adjustments to their examination plans.
