The Governing Council of the Nasarawa State University, Keffi, at its 30th Regular Meeting held on Thursday 7th September and Friday 8th September 2023 has approved the appointment of Mallam Murtala Abubakar Kana as the substantive Bursar of the University.
Mallam Murtala Abubakar Kana until his appointment has been the Acting Bursar of the University since March 2022.
Also appointed by the Governing Council is Engineer Ahmed Liman as the substantive Director of Physical Planning, and Dr Ibrahim Ahmed Madaki as the substantive Director of the University Health Services.
In a related development, the Governing Council also approved the appointment of ESV Ibrahim Jibrin Mairiga as the Director of Works and Maintenance.
According to a statement issued by the Registrar and Secretary to Council Mallam Bala I. Ahmed II indicates that all the appointments are with immediate effect.
