NSUK Vice-Chancellor Leads University Management on Condolence Visit to Family of Late Prof. Silas Gyar

The Vice-Chancellor of Nasarawa State University, Keffi, Professor Sa'adatu Hassan Liman, on Wednesday, 10th June 2026, led Principal Officers of the University on a condolence visit to the family of the late Professor Silas D. Gyar, who passed away on Tuesday, 9th June 2026.

During the visit, the Vice-Chancellor and members of the University management expressed their heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved family, praying for strength and comfort as they mourn the loss of their beloved husband, father, scholar, and mentor.

Special prayers were also offered for the peaceful repose of the soul of the late Professor Silas D. Gyar, in recognition of his contributions to the University community and the academic profession.

The University community joins the family, friends, colleagues, and well-wishers in mourning this great loss and prays that Almighty God grants him eternal rest and gives his family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
