NUC Accredits 31 LAUTECH Academic Programmes
Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) in Ogbomoso achieved a 100 percent success rate in the accreditation of 31 academic programmes by the National Universities Commission (NUC).
The Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) has achieved a significant milestone with the accreditation of all 31 academic programmes presented to the National Universities Commission (NUC). This accomplishment marks a 100 percent success rate for the university.

The Vice Chancellor of LAUTECH, Prof. R.O. Rom Kalilu, conveyed this achievement in a letter to the Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde, who serves as the visitor and proprietor of the institution. The letter, dated July 26, 2024, was also addressed to the institution’s Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council, Prof. Deji Omole.
Prof. Kalilu praised Governor Makinde for his unwavering support and generosity, which he credited for the university's successful accreditation process. The accredited programmes were evaluated by the NUC between October and December 2023, with the results released this month.

Of the 31 programmes assessed, 29 (93.5 percent) received full accreditation, while 2 (6.5 percent) received interim accreditation. Additionally, 13 new academic programmes, initially approved in 2022, are scheduled for NUC accreditation between October and December 2024.
Prof. Kalilu expressed the university's pride and gratitude for the governor's diverse support, which played a crucial role in achieving this outstanding success.
