NUC Accredits Ten Programmes at Federal University Dutse
The National Universities Commission (NUC) has granted accreditation to 10 programs offered by the Federal University Dutse, although one program obtained interim accreditation.
The National Universities Commission (NUC) has granted accreditation to 10 programs offered by the Federal University Dutse.
This decision followed the NUC’s accreditation visit to the university in October/November 2023.

In a recent press release signed by Abdullahi Yahaya Bello, the Deputy Director of Public Affairs, the University management announced that nine of the programmes received full accreditation, while one programme obtained interim accreditation.
The programs that received full accreditation include Master in Public Policy and Administration, Fisheries, English, Botany, Chemistry, Physics, Zoology, Criminology and Security Studies, and Political Science. Cyber Security obtained interim accreditation.

Vice-Chancellor expressed gratitude to the NUC for the favorable results. He praised the university's management and staff for their dedication and hard work in achieving this milestone. He emphasized the importance of maintaining the high standard set by the accreditation and called for continued teamwork to sustain and improve the quality of education offered by the institution.
