The National Universities Commission's team commends Reference Hospital Okene's facilities during their evaluation for Confluence University of Science and Technology's medical program.

NUC Inspects Reference Hospital Okene for CUSTECH Medical Program Accreditation

In the ongoing evaluation process for the Confluence University of Science and Technology (CUSTECH) Osara to offer medical programs, another team from the National Universities Commission (NUC) visited the Reference Hospital Okene for resource verification.

The team was given a comprehensive tour of the hospital by the Chief Medical Director, Prof. Solomon Avidime, along with his management staff. During the visit, the team inspected various departments including Radiography, Physiotherapy, Accident and Emergency, operating theatres, pharmacy, dialysis center, laboratory, MRI, CT scan, oxygen plant, and hyperbaric gas chamber.

Impressed with the state-of-the-art facilities available at the Reference Hospital Okene, the NUC team expressed optimism that, if approved, the hospital would be well-equipped to handle the training of medical doctors from CUSTECH.
